Pacific Islander communities face a variety of unique health challenges, including high rates of diabetes, heart disease, and obesity. This info-session, in partnership with Northwest Kidney Centers aims to honor cultural traditions, while empowering community members with practical tools for healthier eating, without giving up foods that bring us joy and connection to our roots! Please join us for this nutrition-centered information session, while our Wellness Navigation and Pasifika Food Networks teams share ways we can reimagine local dishes with healthier habits in mind!
