This year, our annual back to school event is centered not just on equipping our students with the necessary tools for their school year, but also highlighting the resilience of our history and identities as Pacific Islanders to inspire our scholars as they navigate their educational journeys, through the rich knowledge and practices of their cultures and communities.

We are inviting Knowledge Keepers and Cultural Bearers to join us in facilitating cultural arts learning and sharing through hand-on experiences for our school-aged Wayfinders.

What are we looking for?

🌺 Experts on cultural art relevant to Pacific Islander identity (e.g., weaving, carving, printing, etc.)

🫱🏾‍🫲🏽 Someone passionate about opportunities to pass cultural knowledge and practices to the next generation

🌀 Identify as Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander

🧑‍🧑‍🧒 Has the ability to interact with and teach hands-on activities to school aged children and youth

What we will provide:

💲 Stipend for necessary materials/supplies
