Western Washington is home to one of the largest Pasifika (NHPI) communities in the United States outside of Cali and Hawaii. Our Polynesian, Micronesian, and Melanesian communities have made Western Washington their home first 200 years ago, then the migrations of Pasifika families serving in the military in the 100 years ago, and more recent migrations from Micronesian and Melanesian nations in the past few decades.

We work collaborative with state and local partners to facilitate the wellness of our Western Washington NHPI communities. These partners include: DOH, Kaiser Permanente, Harborview, Providence, PeaceHealth, Chas Health, Seattle King County Public Health, Tacoma Pierce County Health District, Snohomish Health District, Clark County Health District, Spokane Regional Health District, and other partners.
