Snohomish County is home to one of the biggest rural NHPI populations. Snohomish County is home to a large Marshallese & Fijian community along with our many other Pasifika peoples who have settled the northern suburbs of Seattle. Our PICA-WA Snohomish County Chapter has been activated in supporting NHPI specific Covid 19 testing, operate our service provisions including our food distribution and are meeting with local agency partners to scaffold accessible programming that is linguistically and culturally responsive to the needs of our NHPI communities in this region.
PICA-WA currently is working with Snohomish County Health District and other local agencies to help provide advocacy for the many NHPI families who currently reside in Snohomish County.
Our Snohomish Food Distribution site is located at: 2624 Rockefeller Ave, Everett – WA. It occurs on 1st & 3rd Thursdays from 3pm to 6pm. Please drive by and our PICA-WA staff and volunteers will provide food boxes to be loaded in your backseat or trunk.
