Pasifika Food NETworks

Our Pasifika Food NETworks was established to combat the devastating impacts of food insecurity experienced by our NHPI communities through providing region-specific access to culturally appropriate foods throughout Washington State. Fishing nets have traditionally been our symbol for the bounty of the Pacific Oceans and our values of collective stewarding of our harvests. We are also committed to fighting for Food Justice and Sovereignty in solidarity with Native communities to restore an embodied practice of growing local food sources, accessing land for farming and supporting farmers of color in Washington State.

Pasifika Food NETworks operates every 2nd and 4th Thursdays each month in Western Washington and also supplies to Clark, Cowlitz, Snohomish, Pierce & Thurston County. In Southwest Washington, Pasifika Food NETworks distributes food in Vancouver every 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month.┬áPlease reach out to us at contact@picawa.org if you are a Pacific Islander family in need of food supports or if you’re in Southwest Washington looking for food security, please contact Layla at layla@picawa.org.
